Labor Union threatens to support Republicans in the 2012

“Maybe I am confused.... The labor union feels disenfranchised by the Democrats because they feel the Democrats are not doing enough to prevent legislation killing unions and collective bargaining agreements in states with Republican Governors and Republican led majorities? No, I was right. It doesn't make sense. The AFL-CIO are issuing a threat to the Democrats stating they may support Republicans if a better options presents itself. LOL Good Luck with that!!! The logic in their argument is completely flawed. Since Republicans have obtained their new majority power, they have spent the majority of their time on bills to defund planned parenting, increasing taxes for abortion providers, eliminating labor unions and collective bargaining agreements, voter restriction legislation as well as getting rid of Medicare, Medicaid, and Gov't Social Security. Not to mention, attaching unemployment legislation to prevent the expiration of the Bush Tax Cuts. Let's not forget, the 4 billion subsidies allowed for oil company's that does not pay taxes on their trillion dollar profits. If you represented a labor union for CEOs then your threat might actually carry some weight. But, since you represent blue collar workers from your ivory tower....I say again. Good Luck with that!!!!”http://www.huffingtonpost.com/social/Deona_Renna_Hooper/richard-trumka-democrats_n_864518_89106501.html
